Audi Shines on Car and Driver 10 Best of 2013 List

Each year, editors of Car and Driver magazine conduct throughout research to deliver us with a list of their picks of the 10 best cars of the year. Editors of the popular automotive publication drove every new 2013 model under $80,000 over one week in September to find not simply the new cars, but the best cars for the model year. Coming as no surprise to us, they assessed that there are too many great Audi models to single out just one and instead they named four Audi models together as a group as one of their picks for the 10 Best Cars of 2013. We proudly congratulate the Audi A6 3.0T, Audi S6, Audi A7 3.0T, and Audi S7.

“Understated bodies cover stout structures into which Audi crafts beautiful and sensible interiors, without unnecessary complication,” wrote editors of Car and Driver. “Combine that with an unflappable chassis, accurate steering, ample power, and a general sense of quality and you have an unbeatable luxury/sports-car range.”

The Audi A6 3.0T and A7 models were on Car and Driver’s 10 Best Cars of 2012 list. The new S performance models were applauded by the magazine as high end premium sedans.

“For the S6 and S7, Audi take the ‘A’ models’ rich mix of virtues and turns it lethal, thanks in no small part to a 420-hp, twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8,” the Car and Driver 10 Best of 2013 article explained. “
