Audi made a huge presence at the Automotive Lease Guide’s (ALG) 2012 Residual Value awards, grabbing three awards for the 2012 Audi A6, Q7, and S5. The A6 took the honors in the Luxury Car category, the Q7 won the Luxury Fullsize Utility segment, and the S5 beat out the competition in the Luxury Sports Car group.
“To produce dynamic, top performing vehicles that retain their value is always our goal. We’re pleased that three of our most popular models have received ALG’s stamp of approval. All three of the vehicles chosen represent the best Audi offers in design, functionality and progressive luxury,” said Johan de Nysschen, president, Audi of America.
ALG does a complete analysis of each vehicle to determine what percentage of the original purchase price the car will retain after a three year period. Factors that go into ALG’s residual value include quality of the vehicle, competing vehicles in the segment, resale history, industry trends, and many more factors. The ALG residual value is a major benchmark in the auto industry and guides consumers about the quality of a vehicle that impacts their car buying decision.
Audi is dedicated to the highest quality of their vehicles and the ALG awards prove what Audi quality truly is!
