Audi A7 & Q7 Awarded 2012 Active Lifestyle Vehicles of the Year

Audi Q7 TDIIn the 2012 Active Lifestyle Vehicles of the Year competition, the Audi A7 and Q7 were both named top vehicles in their category.  The Audi A7 was awarded the best vehicle for Luxury On-Road category while the Q7 beat out everyone in the Family Vehicle category.

The 2012 Active Lifestyle Vehicles of the Year event was held in Chandler, Arizona.  The competition is the only one in the United States to have a panel of automotive experts and elite athletes.  A total of 32 vehicles were finalists participating.

The panel ranked vehicles based on their design, engine power, fuel economy, and cargo space.  Judges awarded vehicles that catered to athletic lifestyles such as golfing, kayaking, cycling and more.

The luxurious and technologically loaded Audi A7 is powered by Audi’s supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that unloads 310 horsepower while attaining 28 mpg highway.  The five-door sedan also has Quattro® all-wheel drive, Audi Side Assist, Audi Adaptive cruise Control, and Audi Pre-Sense for the ultimate driving and safety technology.
