The total cost of ownership was over the initial five years and was developed using KBB’s residual values to determine the vehicle depreciation. Kelley’s Blue Book total cost analyzed depreciation, expected fuel costs, insurance, maintenance, repairs, state fees and more to arrive at the final amount.
Audi’s Total Cost of Ownership was calculated to be less than $70,000, beating out all other luxury brands. Audi’s A3 2.0T and A4 2.0T were the leading vehicles that propelled Audi to such impressive numbers.
The 2.0 TFSI engine in the A3 and A4 has been one of the most awarded engines in the last decade. The powerful but efficient engine is found in over 1.3 million Audi vehicles worldwide. The 2.0 TFSI engine gets 211 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque.
