Audi #1 Luxury Brand for Total Cost of Ownership

Audi was ranked the number one luxury brand for total cost of ownership by Kelley Blue Book’s kbb.com.  Audi’s strong ability to hold value and excellent efficiency led them to being number one.

The total cost of ownership was over the initial five years and was developed using KBB’s residual values to determine the vehicle depreciation.  Kelley’s Blue Book total cost analyzed depreciation, expected fuel costs, insurance, maintenance, repairs, state fees and more to arrive at the final amount.

Audi’s Total Cost of Ownership was calculated to be less than $70,000, beating out all other luxury brands.  Audi’s A3 2.0T and A4 2.0T were the leading vehicles that propelled Audi to such impressive numbers.

The 2.0 TFSI engine in the A3 and A4 has been one of the most awarded engines in the last decade.  The powerful but efficient engine is found in over 1.3 million Audi vehicles worldwide.  The 2.0 TFSI engine gets 211 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque.

Audi dedicates itself to designing cars that hold value, are powerful, luxurious and employ the latest technology to be the most fuel efficient as well.  The difficult balance of those factors are one that Audi has perfected and shows with the number one ranking by kbb.com as a brand overall.
